Welcome to Twin Lakes Country Garden

Fifteen years ago in 1990, Jim and Faye Nilsson
moved their collection of aviaries to an overgrown
and neglected property in rural Coatesville,
north-west of Auckland city.

Since then, along with waterfowl which were added to
Jim's bird collection, the garden and lakes have
prospered under the day to day guidance of Faye and
the never-ending ideas which occur to Jim as he mows
the lawns and tends the property.

Twin Lakes has been assessed a Garden of Significance by the New Zealand Gardens Trust.

As Twin Lakes is Jim and Faye's home, the garden is
open by appointment only.
